Industrial Applications of ESS technology

Induction charging nozzles are suitale for many industrial coating applications. These nozzles are an alternative to many types of corona, contact and high-voltage induction nozzles.

The ESS Max-Charge has these unique benefits:
            • Suitable for liquid based formulations with a wide range of resistivities.
            • produces no air ions to cause charge buildup on the workpiece.
            • Suitable for coating plastics or metals.
            • Low-voltage and low power. Can even be operated from a 9 volt battery.
            • Charging levels are above -6 mC/liter.
            • Suitable for operation in harsh environments.
Max-Charge nozzle specifications:
  • Air-atomizing induction charging nozzle for aqueous basedsprays or other medium to high conductivity spray mixes.
  • Fluid resistivity range: 20 ohm-cm to 50,000 ohm-cm * 0.6 kV to 1.2 kV normal operating voltage range
  • 0.10 - .80 mA operating current
  • Air pressure range: 25 to 80 psi
  • Air consumption: 2.9 to 10 cfm
  • Liquid flowate: 50 to 200 ml/min
